Hey Reader,
New podcast episode dropped yesterda, and I'm talking about something I don't think we talk about enough: taking your time. Not in the "slow down and be gentle with yourself" way.
In the "claim your time aggressively and protect it like your career depends on it" way. Clutch them like pearls folks!
When I worked retail at H&M, they handed me a schedule, same when I worked at Starbucks and they definitely did when I worked in a 4* hotel in Food & Beverage. I showed up, did my thing, clocked out. I needed to be in a specific place, doing a thing at a specific time.
Simples.
But now? I'm in charge of every moment. And if I don't intentionally design my day, I just end up reacting all day. Which means I'm busy, sure. But I'm not moving forward.
So in this episode, I walk through how I've restructured my time now.
The tools I actually use and how. And here's the thing: none of this works if I don't believe my time and space is worth protecting. I have to treat my day like I value it in the big and the small.
Why? Because if at my core I don't truly believe that, I won't commit to the changes and habits needed to defend it - even against myself.
If you've been on the fence about making some decisions, setting some b**ndaries, blocking the calendar, updating the auto-responder...this episode is for you.

p.s. If you're thinking "Jaz, I don't do this, at all and would feel awkward being so bold with my time" - I see you, something's coming.
