I've been wobbling for over a year now

Hey Reader,

I hit record on something this weekend that I didn't plan. It's raw, it's off the cuff, and honestly nobody asked for it. But I'm sharing it anyway because I think you need to hear it.

It's about self-trust. Or really, the lack of it.

For about a year now, I've been spinning. Trying new things in the business, nothing sticking. Building offers I didn't launch. Launching offers I refunded. Telling myself I needed to follow the "rules", build it a certain way, make it look like everyone else's version of success.

And the whole time, I was sabotaging myself. I was so busy copying what I thought worked that I stopped protecting my own genius. My own perspective. The thing that actually makes my work valuable. I was accidentally creating a business that would overwhelm, shame and censor me all at the same time.

So in this episode, I talk about what shifted.

How I had to come face to face with the fact that I've been fueling my ambition with fear instead of desire. How watching Lauryn Hill, Nas, Floetry (Saaf Landan standup!) and Questlove perform reminded me what it looks like to honour your craft enough to actually share it. And how we're all doing some version of this to ourselves, whether it's in our careers, our businesses, or the way we're showing up (or not showing up) in our lives.

If you've been feeling stuck, disconnected, or like you're performing someone else's version of your career, this one's for you.
